Welcome To The New Inn: The Best In Galgate For Food, Accommodation and Real Ales
The New Inn is a welcoming and traditional public house is situated a short drive south of Lancaster, ajacent to the main A6. We are 2 minutes drive from Lancaster University, in the centre of the village of Galgate. Owner Steven Jeffs took over the business in February 2010 and with the help of his dedicated staff he has turned the pub around through hard work and enthusiasm. With excellent new facilities and friendly staff, the New Inn is becoming increasingly popular both with traditional pub goers, as well as with those looking for good pub food and accommodation.
Once inside the New Inn you will enjoy comfortable surroundings with a log fire in winter and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere from Steven and his staff. This is complimented by a menu of delicious and traditional home cooked food available from 12pm until around 8pm every weekend. There is an array of beverages to choose from at the bar and the chance to sample some real ales, including the ever popular York Guzzler and Black Sheep.
For lovers of sport we have Sky Sports and ESPN, and free Pool is available every day from midday to midnight. Off road parking is also available in our car park and coach parties are welcome by arrangement. Payment by cash or card accepted.
We are open from midday to midnight every day, extended to 1am on Friday and Saturday.
